Purpose
Socialism is an alternative to the capitalist system; under socialism, political and economic power is in the hands of the working class and the basic needs of the people and planet are guaranteed and planned for.
The goal of Students for Socialism is to build towards a socialist society and our purpose is to cultivate a community of student organizers while promoting socialist policies, education, and values. Our mission is to raise the consciousness of the student body around capitalism and socialism through political education, direct action, and collaboration with other student and community organizations.
Students for Socialism is a student affilitate of the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL).
